Product Details

Gibson LPJ, worn brown, made in USA 2013. This is the bare bones party machine version of the Les Paul, which has been incarnated as the LP Studio Faded T and the 70s Tribute models in recent years. The LPJ usually comes with black plastic covered 490 pickups, but this example has been blessed with a delightful paid of Seymour Duncan SH-1 '59 humbuckers. They're a lovely PAF-style pickup that really breathe a lot of tone and life into the guitar, so it's got a nicely balanced, breathy tone with plenty of natural heft and grit. These super thin finishes tend to wear quickly, but this one has been tenderly cared for so it's got very few scrapes and dings to show. The bright red neck pickup adds a little spice, if it's not your thing it'd be easy to attach chrome covers, but hey, we all need a bit of excitement in our lives right? If you're looking for a handy basic LP to rip some punk tunes on between skateboarding sessions, this one will surely crank out the jams.
